What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Care Attendant position at Great Valley Pet Hotel?
Great Valley Pet Hotel, located in Malvern, PA, is seeking high-energy, positive, animal-loving professionals to join our team for seasonal, full-time and part-time positions. We offer Boarding & Daycamp services to the cutest pups around!
Experience not required but dog lover is a must!
Responsibilities Include:
- General care of our boarding & daycare dogs
- Oversee pet's happiness, safety, and well-being
- Feeding, administering medications, and cleaning for guests
- Provide daily playtime activities
- Provide guests with scheduled spa services
- Treat each guest as if they were your own pet!
Schedule:
- 4 hour, 8 hour, and 12 hour shifts available during operating hours between 7 am - 9 pm. Flexible scheduling, so great for students!
- Since our guests require care 365 days a year, applicants must have regular weekend availability and be able to work most holidays.
Animal Caregiver Attendant Position Requirements:
- An animal lover is a must!
- Comfortable around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes
- Basic understanding of pet body language and behavior
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Team player
- Enthusiastic
- Professional
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to stand on feet and remain active throughout shift
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
