Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their oral health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices related to patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to patient care and comfort.
