Executive Director, Job Description:
Looking for an experienced, politically savvy, Director to run the day-to-day operations of a cutting edge non-profit dedicated to saving Utah’s Great Salt Lake—a critical environmental issue that’s generated national and international media attention.
Position requires excellent organizational abilities, vision, political awareness, and people skills—the ability to work constructively with a wide variety of personalities, business and non-profit leaders, agency personnel, and public officials.
The Director will work directly with Josh Romney, the Founder and CEO, to provide leadership, direction, and allocate resources efficiently to further the organization’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Help build out a corporate engagement program and ensure effective reporting and accountability (ROI) to major donors
- Assist with fundraising and public relations
- Hire and manage staff and outside contractors
- Coordinate working groups and work effectively with and federal agencies
Requirements
- Proven executive experience (>3 years) and a bachelor’s degree required
- Extensive executive experience (>10 years) consistent with the above job requirements and an advanced degree preferred
Compensation
Compensation depends on experience, competitive for a non-profit Executive Director in Utah.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
