Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled IT & Hardware Service Technician with hands-on experience in servicing laptops and desktops.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in repairing, replacing, and maintaining hardware components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues in laptops and desktops, including:
- Keyboard replacement
- Display replacement
- System board/motherboard replacement
- Battery replacement and troubleshooting
- Perform branding and BIOS configuration on motherboards after replacement
- Maintain accurate service records and provide technical support to end-users
- Test and ensure proper functionality of devices after repairs
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hardware technologies and repair techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience in laptop and desktop hardware repair
- Strong knowledge of motherboard replacement and branding
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues
- Familiarity with BIOS settings, drivers, and firmware updates
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in computer hardware or related field (e.g., CompTIA A , Dell/HP/Lenovo certified)
- Experience with both consumer and enterprise-level devices
