About us
Great Plains Technical Services is looking for an individual to perform electric motor repairs and field service work. Work includes dismantling, installing bearings, electrical testing, and assembling motors. Field Service work may include oil samples, alignments, balancing, installations, electrical testing, etc. Expected hours are 40-50 per week on average, but may be more.
Hiring Requirements
- Drug Testing/Screening
- Minimum age is 18
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Driver's License, Automobile-Class D
- 40 hours a week, Monday thru Friday. 7:30AM-4:00PM

- Reads blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, work order, instructions, formulas or processing charts
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble pumps
- Distinguish colors
- Move or lift heavy objects
- Understand technical operating, service or repair manuals
- Maintain production or work records

- Maintain inventory of supplies

- Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand
- Use pneumatic tools, electric or electronic test devices or equipment
- Apply cleaning solvents, lubricate machinery/equipment/parts
- Operate hoist, winch or hydraulic boom

Pay: $22.00 - $33.00 per hour
