Your Role as an OT: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care, enhance patient recovery, and support our team in delivering high-quality therapy services.
- Evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral and create effective treatment plans.
- Administer therapy in alignment with physician-approved plans.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Restorative Aides.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment changes per policy.
- Provide caregiver training and assist with discharge planning, including recommending durable medical equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in patient care and rehabilitation meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Kansas Occupational Therapy license in good standing.
- Strong communication, reasoning, and computer skills (e.g., Point Click Care).
- Ability to meet physical demands, including frequent standing, reaching, and lifting.
