Spray Painter A

Spray Painter (Painter A) – 1 st Shift – Salina, KS

We are currently seeking a 1 st Shift Painter A (Spray Painter) for our new paint system at our Construction Equipment facility in Salina, KS.

This position works Monday - Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays, as required.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Paint parts to required specifications
• Use paint gun, ladder, air gun and any other tools necessary to perform the job
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations
• Wear prescribed safety and PPE as required
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
  
  

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

• Knowledge of paint processes helpful
• Must have specific vision abilities to include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception
• Ability to physically perform the job
• Ability to pass the required respirator test to wear a paint respirator
• Ability to follow inventory control procedures
• Ability to give strong attention to detail and stay on-task
• Have a good understanding of team concepts and be a strong team player
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools; ability to read blueprints and tape measure, when needed
