Credit Administrator – Corporate Credit

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Credit Administrator for the Corporate Credit Department to coordinate the credit granting process and analyze credit data to estimate degree of risk involved in extending credit. This position will also be the back up to our Credit Coordinator and Credit Account Mangers to fulfill the needs of the Credit Department.
This is an on-site, salaried role which typically works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from our Corporate headquarters in Salina, KS.

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a Credit Administrator for the Corporate Credit Department to coordinate the credit granting process and analyze credit data to estimate degree of risk involved in extending credit. This position will also be the back up to our Credit Coordinator and Credit Account Mangers to fulfill the needs of the Credit Department.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Preparation and execution of Retail and Trade Notes
- Assist customers with questions about their account balances.
- Setup accounts with Online Bill Payment.
- Manage customer credit files with appropriate level of security/confidentiality.
- Manage database of existing clients. Process all changes in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and complete dealer documentation working in cooperation with sales team.
- Maintain all credit files to industry and legal standards
- Manage and collect Dealer insurance certificate
- Investigates and verifies financial status and reputation of prospective Dealers applying for credit, preparing documents, and recommending rejection or approval of applications.
- Prepare new dealer doc., addendums, and cancelations, for input into the AS400.
- Completes filings with CSC (New Filings, Renewals, Terminations and Amendments)
- Analyze financial reports from dealers to identify potential risk and offer suggestions to improve or mitigate risk. Approval authority up to $250,000.
- Review and analyze loan portfolios; score it based on financial exposure and risk to identify trends or offer suggestions to mitigate risk.
- Verification of Territory Manager inspections of dealer’s floor plan
- Preparation and distribution of Salesman Bonus
- Back Up to the Credit Coordinators:
- GPM Cash Posting (Wires, ACH, Checks, E-Bill, Desktop, Credit and JE)
- Adjust customer records consistent with approved check requests, apply credits to outstanding invoice(s) or clarification from customer regarding intent of payment.

- Research and process charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in collections and financial services
- Ability to resolve moderate problems with minimal guidance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook
Salary : $250,000
