Summary: This position is located in the Oklahoma City Metro Area. It is not a remote position. The Treasury Management Officer (TMO) is responsible for developing new treasury management business and expanding existing commercial depository relationships. The TMO is also responsible for performing the consultative sales process by leveraging their expertise around customer working capital management practices, payment systems, and associated Treasury Management products and services to meet the customers and prospects payment needs. The TMO incorporates a keen awareness of risk and a customer focused perspective. In addition. The TMO assists commercial relationship managers, with their TM business development efforts in order to increase the growth of commercial deposit relationships and increase fee income. The TMO is also responsible for providing Bank Management with product support in the evaluation of product constructs and strategies.
TMO would partner with clients and bank managers in the development and direct sale of depository and TM products and services to new and existing client relationships. Employee would be expected to proactively review client relationships for potential sales opportunities. This person would maintain a high level of subject matter expertise with the commercial deposit products and TM solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Assist staff and customers in the enrollment process and onboarding of all TM service which includes ACH, RDC, Wires, Positive Pay, Dynamic Sweeps, Account Analysis, Lockbox, Credit Cards, Merchant Services, Premium Reports, Payroll, ICS/CDARS, and Direct Connect.
- Process applications, and agreements for TM services mentioned above including verification of account owners and system setup.
- Assist staff and customers with TM service questions, issues, and research.
- Process and submit customer issues not able to be resolved to vendor technical support.
- Participate in all campaigns of TM services and work with Marketing and branch employees on cross-selling TM services. Provide training when necessary.
- Work with TM vendors for any outside software support systems. Work with IT on all hardware related problems that the bank provides.
- Must be willing to travel onsite for initial support and to train customer if necessary.
- Monitor and report to responsible areas on performance, usage, and income/cost on all TM services.
- Develop an understanding of the competitors’ products and positioning within their assigned market(s).
- Travel to and within assigned market(s) to meet internal and external customer needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance or business administration; or two-four years related experience and/or training.
Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other employees, customers and the general public. Ability to calculate basic math figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office software.

This position may require long periods of standing or sitting and may include long periods of typing and repetitive motion. Candidates must possess the ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds.
