What are the responsibilities and job description for the HMDA REVIEW LOAN OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE position at Great Plains Bank?
Summary: This position is responsible for providing HMDA support and review for the consumer and commercial lending groups during the loan origination process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Review all Real Estate files (consumer and commercial) to see if the loan is HMDA Reportable. When applicable, complete HMDA information packet.
- Provide monthly checkback review on all Real Estate loans originated during the previous month for HMDA compliance. Update loans/loan files as needed.
- As a secondary duty, this employee will work on paid loans files. Complete file review and checklist for all loans paid off, file releases and terminations as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED); College certificate is preferred but not required; at least 2-3 years of similar work experience. Basic knowledge of real estate loan documents and HMDA regulatory requirements. Experience working in the FIS software system, Encompass and LaserPro is preferred.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The environment would be consistent with a typical business office with moderate noise; services open to the public and the ability to work in a confined area typically indoors.
