Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team in Lewistown, MT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting packages to various residential and commercial locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
- Pickup and deliver packages to/from customer locations in a timely manner.
- Follow routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by interacting positively with customers during deliveries.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Operate scanners and other technology to track pickups and deliveries in real time.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods safely.
- Experience with route driving and knowledge of local roads is beneficial.
- Proficient in operating various types of vehicles including delivery vans and box trucks.
- Capability to load & unload packages efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a physical, drug screening and background check.
- Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to get in and out of vehicle multiple times per day.
- Does NOT require CDL license
