Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Facility Management: Oversee the custodial and maintenance services for our community’s shared spaces, working alongside contractors and vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Contract and Vendor Oversight: Monitor contracts, ensure compliance, and perform inspections to make sure all work meets the highest standards.
- Procurement & Selection: Solicit bids for maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and construction projects to keep the communities looking its best.
- Engage with the Board: Attend and participate in board meetings, providing updates, insights, and ensuring effective communication between the Board, residents, and contractors.
- Field Inspections: Regularly inspect the property to ensure all residents are in compliance with association documents and regulations.
- Procure Insurance & Services: Ensure the community has the necessary insurance coverage and services to function seamlessly.
- Administrative Support: Manage association records, assist with board meetings, and provide essential support to the Board and homeowners.
- Annual Meeting Coordination: Organize and attend annual meetings, providing owners with important updates and information about the community.
- Point of Contact: Be the go-to person for all community-related inquiries and assist with various tasks as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal and business communication skills are a must to interact with homeowners, contractors, and Board members.
- Highly Organized: You’ll need a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in property management software and a solid understanding of financial reporting is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in property management and relevant certifications (CPM, CMCA, PCAM) are highly preferred.
