As a Universal Banker, you’ll be the face of GMFCU, building trusted relationships, helping members reach their financial goals, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to service excellence.
You’ll:
- Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service to every member.
- Open new accounts, process transactions, and assist with loan applications.
- Generate and close consumer loans, including auto and home equity products.
- Build strong member relationships through genuine, consultative conversations.
- Meet and exceed service and sales goals, contributing directly to GMFCU’s growth.
- Stay informed on products, services, and credit union policies to deliver confident guidance.
- A passion for people, service, and community.
- Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or retail.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- A goal-oriented mindset and drive to achieve results.
- Comfortable learning new technology and adapting to change.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and always ready to help.
Preferred but not required:
- Associate Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1 year of lending experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
