Great Livin' LLC is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and growth-oriented clinician to join our team as a Behavior Support Clinician.
This position is ideal for:
- Recent graduates of Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related programs
- Pre-licensed clinicians working toward independent licensure
- Clinicians seeking meaningful experience in trauma-informed and person-centered behavioral support services

About the Role
The Behavior Support Clinician works closely with and under the supervision of the Clinical Director while learning the full scope of behavior consultation services.
This is a structured growth position designed to help clinicians build confidence and competency through:
- Direct mentorship
- Collaborative case consultation
- Guided assessment and treatment planning
- Real-world clinical experience
The clinician will gradually assume more independent responsibilities as skills and experience develop.
What You'll Do
Clinical Assessment & Support
- Participate in behavioral assessments through observation, interviewing, and information gathering
- Review behavioral history, clinical records, and support data alongside the Clinical Director
- Learn to identify behavioral patterns, environmental factors, and support needs
Behavior Support Planning
- Assist in developing Positive Behavior Support Assessments (PBSAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
- Help create prevention strategies, reinforcement systems, and skill-building interventions
- Support development of individualized and person-centered recommendations
Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration
- Attend interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings
- Collaborate with families, provider agencies, guardians, and support staff
- Assist with follow-up communication, documentation, and care coordination
Staff Training & Coaching
- Help prepare training materials and support staff education
- Observe and assist with coaching and implementation support
- Learn practical strategies for helping teams successfully implement behavior plans
Data Collection & Progress Monitoring
- Assist with tracking behavioral data and identifying trends
- Support progress monitoring and outcome review
- Help prepare quarterly and semiannual reports
Skill Development Support
- Support individuals in building coping skills, communication skills, emotional regulation, and replacement behaviors
- Reinforce strategies that improve autonomy, quality of life, and community participation
Clinical Organization & Compliance
- Help maintain organized documentation and timelines
- Track assessments, meetings, deadlines, and plan revisions
- Learn documentation and compliance standards within New Mexico DDSD services

Education & Qualifications
Applicants should meet one of the following:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
- OR
- Recent graduate actively pursuing licensure
Preferred but not required:
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, or behavioral challenges
- Interest in trauma-informed care and positive behavior supports
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate New Mexico behavioral health licensure
- Completion of required DDSD trainings upon hire
- Participation in ongoing supervision and mentorship meetings
- Reliable transportation, driver's license, and auto insurance
- Reliable internet, computer, and phone access
- Professional liability insurance when providing direct services
- Compliance with mandatory reporting requirements
