Job Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for all aspects of the recruitment and hiring process. This position serves as a key point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The Recruiting Coordinator manages recruiting workflows, interview scheduling, applicant tracking system administration, pre-employment activities, onboarding coordination, and recruitment reporting to support the organization's talent acquisition objectives.

Recruiting Support

  • Support full-cycle recruiting activities for hourly, salaried, and leadership positions.
  • Manage job postings across internal and external job boards.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Facilitate candidate travel arrangements and interview logistics when necessary.
  • Track recruitment metrics and prepare regular recruiting reports.

Applicant Tracking System Administration

  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Monitor candidate workflow progression and ensure timely movement through hiring stages.
  • Generate reports regarding applicant flow, open positions, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring activity.
  • Audit recruiting records to ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Recruitment Events and Employer Branding

  • Coordinate participation in job fairs, hiring events, community outreach programs, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Assist with recruitment, marketing efforts, and social media recruiting campaigns.
  • Represent the organization professionally at recruiting events and community partnerships.
  • Support the development of recruitment materials and employment branding initiatives.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain recruiting files and ensure proper document retention.
  • Respond to candidate and hiring manager inquiries.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
  • Run monthly driving records for current employees as they expire

 

QUALIFICATIONS

          Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.
    •  
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
    •  
    • Working knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices.
    •  
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    •  
    • Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferred.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  •  
  • Preferred: Minimum of two years of recruiting, human resources, administrative support, or talent acquisition experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferred: Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Preferred: Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments.
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification.

  • Pass a pre-employment background check
  • Pass a drug test at any time during employment.

  • Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
  • Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
  • Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.

 

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS

Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment.  Regular use of office equipment is required.

 

Physical Demands:

  • This position requires frequent sitting; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary; extensive use of computer equipment.
  • The employee must occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
  • The employee is regularly required to read, write and communicate in English. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

 

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m.

 

Travel:

Travel is not expected, but may occasionally occur.
