Role snapshot- Compensation: Starting pay: $25.00 - $35.00
- Assemble industrial machinery and equipment from mechanical blueprints and assembly drawings
- Fit, align, and install components: bearings, shafts, gearboxes, motors, conveyors
- Plumb and integrate pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Use precision measuring tools to validate fit, alignment, and tolerances
- Troubleshoot during assembly and testing; make necessary adjustments
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and standard shop equipment
- 3 years in machine building, mechanical assembly, or similar industrial work
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments
- Personal basic hand tools
- Driver’s license and dependable transportation
- Knowledge of industrial/jobsite safety standards
- Dependable, self-directed, and collaborative when needed
