Responsibilities
- Develop and expand your customer base within the assigned territory
- Work with management to set and achieve sales goals for revenue, margin, and overall performance
- Create and execute a marketing plan specific to your territory
- Promote all company offerings, including products, parts, technical support, and services
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Stay current on product knowledge and effectively communicate product capabilities to customers
- Negotiate competitive vendor pricing based on market conditions
- Submit call reports, mileage logs, and expense reports as required
- Attend company trainings, vendor programs, trade shows, and other events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of territorial sales experience in industrial, marine, or off-highway products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Planning, organization, and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of sales processes, pricing, discounts, and cost reporting
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Strong judgment, decision-making, and negotiation skills
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle and insurability
- Ability to travel overnight as needed within the assigned territory
