Heavy Equipment Service Technician

Essential Functions Performed: (Other functions/tasks may be required besides those listed)

• Conduct thorough failure analysis of equipment to determine root cause.
• Order necessary parts for repairs, testing, and other related tasks.
• Assist with equipment assembly and related tasks as needed.
• Deliver, install, and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Develop parts lists for customer orders.
• Occasionally order parts for stock or special projects.
• Provide occasional support to sales efforts.
• Perform necessary repairs, including tasks such as welding, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical fabrication.
• Experience with Twin Disc converters

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic aptitude and knowledge, with expertise in troubleshooting, testing, and repairing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Knowledge of equipment instrumentation, gauges, and testing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of safety and housekeeping rules and guidelines.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation.

JOB PREREQUISITES (needed upon job entry)

Minimum Education Level, Type, Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical School Graduate preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in equipment repair and customer service.
