What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager – Post Frame position at Great Lakes Post Frame?
Growing Michigan post-frame builder looking for an experienced construction project manager to be the technical lead across our active builds. We run about 10-20 projects at a time across Michigan and Indiana, with in-house office staff and experienced subcontract crews.
What you'll do
- Be the go-to technical expert for crews, customers, and the office
- Coordinate with building inspectors and resolve inspection items
- Do site visits, final walkthroughs, and punch lists
- Review plans, truss drawings, and material orders before they go out
- Catch problems early and keep jobs moving
What we're looking for
- [3 ] years running post-frame, pole barn, or residential construction projects
- Strong understanding of post-frame framing, trusses, bracing, and code requirements
- Detail-oriented: you notice what others miss
- Comfortable working with inspectors and customers
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; regular travel to job sites
Pay & benefits
- $35–$42/hr based on experience
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate for job-site travel
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
Work Location: On the road
