We are seeking an energetic and friendly part-time Cashier/Customer Service person to join our Gourmet Popcorn team. In this fast-paced popping role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner and fulfil their order
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting via phone
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and standing for extended periods of 5-8 hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach
