Medical Office Assistant
As an assistant you will be responsible for helping ensure efficient operation of our medical office. You will organize patient flow as well as help patients through a variety of tasks related to documentation, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and great patient satisfaction.
This part time position will be flexible hours Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. No nights, weekends or holidays
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling Tests
- Checking patients in and out
- Collecting payment from patients
- Getting authorizations
- Checking insurance coverage
- Adding insurance and demographics in EMR (electronic medical records)
- In charge of patient flow
- Assisting doctors, cleaning patient rooms

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
Work Location: In person
