Job Overview
Looking for Plow drivers, Loader operators, and snow shovelers. Pay range will be based on experience. We are Located in Menomonee Falls and you will need reliable transportation to report in for snow events. We are easy to work with and we are looking for team players. Ideal job for Tradesmen and other workers with seasonal slow down in the winter. We would love for this opportunity to turn into year round work for you, but we are also happy to have people that are only looking for winter work. Please apply today!
Duties
- Operate snow plow trucks and related machinery safely and efficiently to clear snow and ice from roads, driveways, parking lots, and walkways.
- Perform routine inspections of plow equipment, including blades, hydraulic systems, and power tools, ensuring optimal functionality before and after shifts.
- Assist with other outdoor maintenance tasks such as lawn care, landscaping, tree trimming, mowing, and irrigation during off-peak seasons to support overall property upkeep.
- Use hand tools and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments to snow removal equipment or landscape features.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, including areas cleared, equipment used, and any issues encountered during shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts efficiently across multiple sites.
- Conduct safety checks on machinery and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on snow plows, excavators, or other landscaping machinery.
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction or landscaping equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with active problem-solving skills for equipment operation and site management.
- Strong teamwork ethic with effective communication skills to coordinate efforts during snow removal operations.
