- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as excavators when necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs
- Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure even coverage and optimal water distribution across lawns and landscaped areas
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, and general landscaping duties
- Operate construction equipment safely to assist with system installation or upgrades in larger projects
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall site care plans
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, repairs, and parts used for future reference
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related landscaping equipment
- Familiarity with irrigation principles, lawn care practices, landscape maintenance, and horticulture fundamentals
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of landscaping techniques and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of land surveying or construction practices is a plus but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting system issues
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate company vehicles or equipment as needed
