What are the responsibilities and job description for the METRC/ Inventory Specialist position at Great Lakes Kush?
Great Lakes Kush is a start up Adult Use Cannabis Cultivation facility located in Lansing, MI. We strive to provide top notch genetics and craft cananbis flower to the Michigan market. This is a fast growing operation with a great deal of upward mobility.
Job Duties:
- Process and complete all product conversions using the seed-to-sale software METRC as required by the State of Michigan
- Conduct daily and monthly audits of raw and packaged products throughout the cultivation stages
- Follow all procedures and maintain strict compliance to all local and state regulations
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed
- Follow instructions from leadership team showing flexibility with all delegated tasks
- Create and distribute label templates for all production departments on a daily basis ensuring compliance
- Proofread and update important documents containing regulatory language
- Collaborate with all Departments to ensure all SOPs are up-to-date and in compliance
- Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures in accordance with state with local and state regulations
This is a hands on compliance position in which you will work along side the entire team at GLK providing a strict adherence to state regulations while simultaneously monitoring all inventories for business operations.
An individual with supply chain and compliance background is highly desired.
No cannabis cultivation experience required.
An interest in horticultural practices

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
