About the Job
We are currently seeking a full-time Production Associate to join our team. This position involves assembling water filtration systems and components for a wide variety of applications. We are looking for someone dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn in a hands-on production environment. Standard hours of operation are Mon-Fri, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
Job Responsibilities
- Pull and assemble parts according to work ticket instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, electric tools, and other production equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform quality checks on assemblies and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Identify and report defective materials or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Accurately record production data, material usage, and quality information.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and materials, ensuring adequate stock remains available and promptly notifying supervisors when reorders are needed.
- Ensure accurate Bill of Materials by verifying components, part numbers, and quantities.
- Conduct accurate physical inventory counts to verify stock levels and ensure alignment with inventory records.
- Assist with pulling, receiving, packaging, and preparing finished goods for shipments, as needed.
- Safely operate pallet jack according to specifications, to transfer product through warehouse.
- Assist Shipping and Receiving department, as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow established standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process improvements or efficiency opportunities.
Skills & Educational Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work ticket instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Basic math and measurement skills; ability to use tape measure, scales, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to climb stairs, move heavy carts, lift 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory inquiries.
- Positive communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow established SOPs.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
