About us
Great Lakes Insurance is a large privately owned property and casualty insurance agency headquartered in Erie, PA with offices from Buffalo, NY to Pittsburgh, PA. The goal of this position would be to start as support staff to learn the insurance business with the intention of your role to grow within the agency. There are no prerequisites other than a willingness to learn.
The goal of this job is to support our more senior staff so they are not inundated with clerical roles. We would also like to develop your knowledge of the industry and allow you to grow within our agency.
Responsibilities consist of:
- Renewal coverage outline preparation
- Data entry
- Customer service call answering
- Personal lines quoting
- Customer service in person
We are not looking for an employee that carries any level of experience, but rather an employee that is willing to learn and grow within our agency.
Skills Required:
- Willingness to learn from senior members of staff
- Computer proficient and comfortable with changing technology
- Proficient in Microsoft and willing to learn a new management system
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $28,556.52 - $55,000.00 per year
