Lab Assistant(s) (full-time & part-time) needed for our Dental Assistant Program.

· The Lab Assistant works under the supervision of the instructor to assist students in the lab environment.
· Classes are taught Monday-Thursday. We currently have day classes, but evening options may become available as the program grows.

- Under the supervision and direction of the instructor, the lab assistant directs students in hands-on learning covering dental assistant procedures, radiography, infection control, and patient care
- The incumbent will have the ability to show students how dental anatomy and terminology learned in the classroom transfers to the hands-on skills needed to perform the work
- This position is “in-person” at the GLIT campus in Erie PA.
- The lab assistant will assist the instructor with monitoring student records of attendance and progress reports
- Strict adherence to all accreditation standards, school policies, and approved curriculum is required
- The incumbent must have excellent communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to relate to students, which is required to ensure appropriate transfer of skills in the lab environment.
- Must be a graduate from a dental assistant program with a minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant.
- Must be X-Ray certified
