Responsibilities
- Perform various construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, roofing, masonry, and concrete finishing with precision and attention to detail
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively across multiple job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality specifications
- Assist with construction estimating and project management activities as needed
- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, tile, stucco, and other finishing elements to meet project requirements
- Support fabrication and installation of structural components such as steel framing or concrete forms for various projects
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Experience in construction estimating and project planning processes
- Skilled in construction inspection procedures to uphold safety and quality standards
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, masonry, plastering, welding, and restoration work
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, scaffolding, cranes or other heavy equipment safely
- Excellent blueprint reading skills along with familiarity with schematics and technical drawings
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, tile laying, hardscape installation, glass installation, and trim carpentry
- Capable of performing detailed tasks such as caulking, door hanging, painting preparation, flooring installation and masonry work
