Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Epoxy Floor Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and high-quality epoxy flooring systems across various commercial and residential projects. Duties
- Prepare concrete surfaces for coating installation, including grinding, cleaning, and surface preparation
- Operate concrete grinders, dust extractors, hand grinders, and other jobsite equipment
- Install professional-grade epoxy and polyaspartic floor coating systems
- Apply base coats, decorative flakes, clear coats, and other coating materials
- Measure and mix coating materials according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites throughout the installation process
- Assist with masking, taping, crack repair, joint preparation, and other detailed prep work
- Load, unload, and properly maintain tools, equipment, and materials
- Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete projects on schedule
- Perform detailed quality-control checks to ensure finished floors meet company standards
- Communicate professionally with customers and crew members while working on residential and commercial properties
- Follow company safety procedures and proper handling practices for tools, equipment, and coating materials
- Travel to job sites throughout the Northern Michigan area
- Perform physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, lifting, and working on concrete floors
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment and report any issues promptly
- Represent Great Lakes Concrete Coatings professionally on every jobsite
Requirements

- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Able to safely operate basic hand and power tools, or willing to learn
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing repetitive physical work
- Comfortable working on hands and knees, bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and jobsite conditions
- Professional and respectful when interacting with customers and coworkers
- Must be willing to work Monday–Friday and occasional Saturdays as needed based on the project schedule
- No previous concrete coating experience required — we are willing to train the right person

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
