Infant/Toddler Teacher Assistant (Union)
Location: 765 South Buchanan Street, Fremont, OH 43420
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Year-Round Full-Time
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.61 per hour, based on education
Position Overview
Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers enrolled in the Early Head Start program. Assist with classroom activities, daily care routines, and program operations in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards, licensing requirements, and agency policies.

Education
High school diploma or GED.
Experience
Early childhood or related childcare experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrange, sanitize and store supplies, classroom and lunch equipment.
- Assist teacher with classroom activities and daily lesson plans.
- Provide a caring environment and address childcare needs.
- Maintain and ensure that food service areas, trays and dishes are cleaned daily.
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
- Initial and periodic physical exams required.
- Must submit to initial and/or periodic state and/or federal criminal checks.
- Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.
