What are the responsibilities and job description for the Third Shift Auditor position at Great Lakes Cold Storage?
Under the general supervision from the Distribution Manager, audits orders on the dock to ensure the correct quantity and products are being shipped to the customer. Auditors assist in maintaining an acceptable error rate on orders shipped according to guidelines.
General Duties:
- Meet or exceed the requirements of internal and external customers at all times
- Inspects pallet build and shrink wrap quality
- Documents, reports and corrects errors at the end of each shift
- Develop and implement tracking reports to provide accurate data analysis and accountability for operational management/selection
- Other duties as required and assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively, as it relates to the job and to safety regulations
- Must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen & Background Check)
- Preferred Requirements: Previous inventory experience
