Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damages.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and work areas to promote a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or pallet jacks.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery safely.
- Experience with warehouse management systems. Manage and operate automated manufacturing equipment computer skills a requirement for this operation.
- Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and performing repetitive tasks involving materials handling.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
