We are a leading countertop design, manufacture, and install company, seeking a dedicated Bilingual Quality Control Associate to join our team in Providence, RI (02908).Key Responsibilities· Final Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of finished stone slabs (granite, quartz, marble, etc.) post-fabrication to ensure complete accuracy and quality.· Defect Identification: Check for and document any issues related to dimensional accuracy, profile inconsistencies, color variations, surface defects (chips, scratches, fissures), or other flaws.· Reporting and Rework: Accurately report all defects and non-conformances to the production manager for immediate rework or repair.· Loading Assistance: Assist the logistics team with safely loading finished countertop projects onto company trucks for delivery and installation.· Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.Requirements and Qualifications· Bilingual Proficiency Preferred: English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) to effectively communicate with diverse team members.· Physical Stamina: Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs frequently to assist with moving and loading heavy stone slabs.· Detail-Oriented: A proven track record of attention to detail, especially with measurements and visual inspection.· Experience: Previous experience in quality control, fabrication, construction, or a related field is highly preferred.· Measurement Skills: Proficient with tape measures, calipers, and reading shop drawings.Job Type: Full-timeRoom for Advancement.
