We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team.

Position Summary

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and recording all incoming materials, ingredients, packaging, and supplies. This role works closely with warehouse staff, production, and quality assurance to ensure inventory is correct, materials meet company standards, and products are stored safely in compliance with food manufacturing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and packing slips.
  

• Inspect incoming goods for accuracy, quality, and potential damage.
  

• Accurately log receipts into the inventory system (ERP/WMS).
  

• Label and organize materials for storage in designated areas.
  

• Coordinate with Quality Assurance for sampling and material approval.
  

• Communicate discrepancies or shortages with purchasing and suppliers.
  

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
  

• Maintain clean and organized receiving areas in compliance with GMP and food safety requirements.
  

• Support cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  

• 2 year of warehouse, logistics, or receiving experience (food/beverage or manufacturing preferred).
  

• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
  

• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred, training available).
  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold or warm warehouse environment.
  

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
