Housekeeper (Part-Time) – Watkinsville, GA
We are a busy family with four children living near downtown Watkinsville, and we’re looking for reliable, proactive help to keep our home running smoothly. This is a part-time position, 3 days per week, approximately 2–3 hours per day, preferably in the mornings.
Responsibilities
- Laundry support: folding and putting away clothing
- Loading/unloading dishwasher, hand washing certain dishes, and keeping the kitchen tidy
- Wiping down counters and general surface cleaning
- Making beds and changing bedding as needed
- Vacuuming and dusting
- Tidying and organizing household spaces
- Assisting with organization projects
- Putting away grocery deliveries
- Light cleaning projects (ie: using a magic eraser on high-traffic walls)
- Watering potted plants
- Taking initiative—looking around and identifying what needs to be done without always needing a list
- Preparing a guest house for guests
- Once a week cleaning at our office in Downtown Watkinsville
- Occasional help turning two rental units (at most twice a year)
Requirements
- Experience with cleaning and household organization
- Reliable transportation
- Clean background
- Comfortable with children and animals
- Self-motivated and attention to detail
- Must be willing to complete a paid, one-week trial to review responsibilities and ensure a good fit
