Job Description:
- Hire and oversee bat boys for all home games.
- Clubhouse Manager Room needs to be kept neat and orderly. No food or dirty dishes should be left out.
- Doing laundry for the Voyagers and the Umpires. Laundry to include uniforms, towels, and personal items.
- Cleaning clubhouses for home, visitors, and umpires. Empty trash daily.
- Vacuum home team, trainer’s room, visiting team, umpire, hallway, weight room, and coaches’ room daily.
- Sweep and mop shower/bathroom areas daily.
- Scrub coaches and players showers.
- Make sure all sinks and toilets are cleaned daily.
- Oversees team uniforms
- Keeps an accurate inventory of uniforms.
- Arranges for repair of uniforms.
- Orders new uniform items, with the approval of Front Office.
- Manages team equipment
- Keeps an accurate inventory of equipment that is received
- Manages an accurate inventory of bats and balls that are used and completes report at the end of season.
- Feed the team - pregame and post game meals, and spreads
- Meal should be ready no later than two hours prior to start of game.
- Ensure meal area is cleaned after each use.
- Ensures umpires have everything that they need
- Deliver five dozen baseballs, ball bag, and rubbing mud to umpire locker room, no later than 2 ½ hours before the scheduled start of the game.
- Arrange for post-game meal for the umpire crew with concession manager, and deliver meal to umpires.
- Serves as Clubbie for the Visiting Team
- Ensure the visiting team has enough clean towels
- Keep team informed of any delays
- Working with Front Office Staff and coaching staff and keeping them informed
- Serves as a liaison between the front office and Coaches to schedule player/coach appearances.
