As a Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent across all phases of commercial and residential construction—from preconstruction through closeout. You'll play a critical role in documentation, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site operations.

- Assist with reviewing project budgets and schedules
- Communicate and coordinate regularly with subcontractors
- Support project setup, including permitting, subcontractor outreach, and temporary facilities
- Manage RFIs and submittals to resolve documentation gaps and discrepancies
- Track project costs, change orders, and meeting documentation using construction management software
- Maintain accurate, organized project documentation from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead and participate in safety meetings; ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Assist on the job site with general carpentry, labor tasks, and material runs as needed
- Associate’s degree in Construction Management or relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Familiar with project scheduling, change orders, and cost tracking
- Familiarity with job costing, billing, and project documentation
- Strong communication and active listening abilities
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Eagerness to learn and stay current with industry trends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (and up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to perform physical job site tasks including bending, climbing, and kneeling
