What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coating Prep Technician position at Great Dane Powder Coating inc.?
Great Dane Powder Coating is seeking out new team members. A successful candidate will be responsible for operating our automated & conveyorized powder coating and or E-coating system. We are located in Loyalhanna, PA (near Latrobe).
Responsibilities:
· Performs one or more functions at a time on a line, and may be asked to work on more than one line during a shift.
· Complete required trainings and pass skill assignments.
· Understand the work flow, output requirements and quality measures by using GDS.
· Operate coating equipment.
· Hang, wash and coat parts to achieve finishes specific to the customers’ requirements.
· Perform quality checks to ensure we have met the proper specifications.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
