As a part time stylist, you can work as many hours as desired up to 31 hours a week. Work a consistent 20 hours a week and you can qualify for other benefits! Must be available to work at least 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday a month.

To join the Great Clips salon team as a stylist or barber, you’ll need:

• A valid Cosmetology or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• A passion for haircutting and helping customers look and feel their best
• A desire to listen and make a difference through excellent customer service and genuine connections
• A team-oriented attitude and desire to contribute to a great team culture

  A: No. Customers are provided through walk-in traffic and Online Check-In, so there’s no need to self-promote or manage appointments.
• Q: Can I work part-time while doing other work or schooling?
  A: Often, yes. Many part-time stylists balance this role with school, other roles, or personal commitments. Scheduling details vary by salon.
• Q: Do Great Clips salons offer ongoing training for part-time stylists?
  A: Yes. Part-time stylists have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, including Great Clips University.
