Chef

Great Circle Catering (GCC) is the Seacoast area's premier full-service caterer. GCC operates as a commissary kitchen for corporate catering, social events, food trucks, kiosks, general aviation and military troop flights. We are currently hiring for a full-time Chef for our growing company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute food preparation, presentation and culinary activities
• Participate in military troop production builds
• Catering, special event and banquet production
• Execute existing menus and event orders to a high standard of quality
• Perform moderate administrative duties
• Comply with all applicable sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Communication with the Kitchen Manager, Managing Director & Director of Operations
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Verifiable work experience
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (weekend availability)
• Serve Safe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
