What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Educational Sales Representative position at Great Books Summer Program?
Join Our Team as Senior Educational Sales Representative as Great Books Summer Program!
We are looking for a passionate go-getter and creative thinker! Imagine a summer experience for students that is a journey of exploring big ideas, finding inspiration, and building community. That's exactly what Great Books Summer Program (GBSP) offers – an unforgettable academic experience that sparks young minds, held on prestigious campuses like Amherst College, Stanford University, the University of Oxford, and more. Our programs bring together students from every corner of the world, creating an international community of eager learners.
Our mission is to ignite deep thought and profound discussions through literature and philosophy, cultivating sharp critical thinking skills along the way.
Here's where you come in! You will have two primary objectives - craft unforgettable enrollment experiences for interested families and build our network of supportive educators and alumni students/families. Armed with dynamic strategies, you'll connect with prospective families in person, virtually, and over the phone. You're not just selling weeks at camp; you're building lasting connections and providing exceptional service. You will conduct proactive outreach to prospective clients through cold calls, targeted emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales prospecting strategies.
As a sales professional, you'll analyze trends to supercharge enrollment efforts. You're not just meeting today's goals; you're always looking forward to build the pipeline for the future. A master communicator and relationship builder, you'll collaborate with our Marketing Team, identify new targets, cultivate school relationships, and lead engaging call and multimedia sales and outreach campaigns. You will utilize our house list, Linked-In, and other resources to help connect with affinity groups of educators and consultants who work directly with and to nominate our ideal students. Additionally, you will help connect with and grow our alumni group and student family connections to build a robust referral network.
Your mission is clear: guide families from first inquiry to enrollment, creating a concierge-level experience. Build connections with educational consultants, camp consultants, teachers, school administrators, counselors, and others who recommend summer programs to families. With a blend of autonomy and teamwork, you are able to function independently while operating effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize, balance, and manage a high volume of work.
Are you a force of nature with a track record of sales success? Do you thrive on achieving the extraordinary? Are you passionate about our mission to shape young minds? If so, you're the star we're seeking to join our dynamic team.
