Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance the dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
- Upsell menu items including premium wines, spirits, or specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or fine dining establishments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations professionally
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality environments such as nightclubs or casual dining is advantageous
