What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Floral Designer/MANAGER position at Great Bend Floral?
Responsibilities:
- Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting the right floral arrangements
- Stock and maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies
- Utilize artistic skills to design unique and visually appealing floral arrangements
- Take customer orders over the phone or in person and process payments
- Communicate with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the final product
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of orders
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (Spanish language skills are a plus)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of floral design techniques and trends
- Experience in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and a creative eye for design
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
