Job Summary
We are seeking an outgoing, dedicated qualified infant-toddler teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for infants and toddlers and work alongside another teacher in a private, small preschool in Danvers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and curiosity in infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive care that meets the individual needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Foster a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and document each child's progress, behavior, and milestones
- Collaborate with families to ensure consistent communication about children’s growth and well-being.
- Manage classroom routines effectively while maintaining positive behavior management techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and health regulations and all EEC regulations
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with infants and toddlers in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques tailored for young children.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or caregiving are advantageous.
- A big smile and a positive attitude along with a good work ethic are very important too
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
