Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - Special Procedures (RCIS/RCES)
Join our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory where you'll be an integral part of a dynamic healthcare team delivering life-saving cardiovascular care. As a Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist, you'll work alongside leading physicians in a modern, well-equipped facility while advancing your career in interventional cardiology.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced cardiac catheterization procedures and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Manage contrast media administration following age- and weight-specific protocols
- Maintain sterile environment and assist in complex cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor and record hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings
- Operate sophisticated cardiac imaging equipment and maintain quality control standards
- Handle IV access management and documentation in Meditech and PACS systems
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and proper handling of radioactive materials
Required Qualifications:
- RCIS or RCES certification through CCI (or ability to obtain within one year)
- OR ARRT certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)]
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum 1 year experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
