Lead a team of 50 healthcare professionals while managing multiple surgical specialties including neurology, orthopedics, and general surgery.
Essential Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership for all surgical services operations, including OR, sterile processing, and perioperative services
• Direct and optimize the utilization of seven operating suites featuring cutting-edge surgical technology
• Manage a diverse team of 50 FTEs including RNs, CSTs, Anesthesia Techs, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality metrics
• Collaborate with C-suite leadership on departmental objectives and strategic planning
• Oversee budget management and resource allocation
• Drive continuous improvement in patient care outcomes and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
• BSN or Bachelor's degree in related healthcare field
• Current Idaho RN license or eligibility for licensure
• 3-4 years surgical services experience
• Demonstrated management experience in healthcare setting
• CNOR certification or eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Expertise in sterile processing and decontamination procedures
• Strong understanding of surgical technology and robotics platforms
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• Experience with robotic surgical systems
• Multi-department leadership experience
• Quality improvement project management expertise
