Janitorial Services Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility.
• Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas by disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed in storage areas or maintenance zones to uphold safety standards.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and reporting larger issues to appropriate teams.
• Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support other custodial or porter responsibilities during busy periods or special events to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and floor care procedures such as buffing and polishing.
• Experience with industrial cleaning tools and supplies is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs and painting is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
