GBI in Plymouth, UT is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Burn Table Operator to join our fabrication team. If you have a strong background in machine operation, overhead crane experience, and a commitment to safety and quality we encourage you to apply and become a part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures
- Follow operational instructions outlined by plate processing manager
- Maintain accurate records of part numbers, job numbers, and cut sheets
- Keep work area organized, clean, and safe
- Report any dimensional discrepancies to the plate processing manager or QA/QC team
- Prior experience in operating burn tables preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to operate handheld grinders, overhead cranes, forklifts, be able to read a tape measure, and lift 50 lbs.
- Good communication skills for reporting and coordination
- Ability to maintain an organized and clean work environment
- Day shift full time position Monday-Thursday (Fridays depending on schedules and deadlines).
- Overtime available
- Pay is hourly based on experience
