The Payment Resolution Specialist delivers consistent, member-focused experience while managing Visa debit and credit card disputes on behalf of the credit union. This role is responsible for reviewing dispute requests for accuracy and chargeback rights, researching transaction activity, submitting and tracking disputes through the card processor portal, maintaining complete documentation, and processing provisional and final account adjustments.
Qualifications:Experience and Training
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
Required Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Credit union products, services, and policies
- Federal regulations governing credit union operation and activities
Ability to:
- Perform minor math calculations.
- Keep accurate and efficient files.
- Pay attention to details; be proficient and precise.
- Organize time effectively.
- Be flexible and able to handle more than one task at a time.
- Calmly and effectively deal with irate members.
- Demonstrate good judgment when making decisions.
