We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Babysitting and First Aid Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching essential Babysitting, First Aid, and CPR skills to various audiences, including adults and youth. This role requires strong communication skills, public speaking abilities, and a passion for educating others about safety and emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover First Aid techniques, CPR, and best Babysitting practices.
- Conduct classes in a clear and effective manner, ensuring all participants understand the material presented.
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles within the classroom environment.
- Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to reinforce learning objectives.
- Assess student performance through practical evaluations and written tests.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
- Stay updated on the latest guidelines and teaching techniques to ensure course content is current.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions and participation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or education.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Knowledge of First Aid techniques, CPR, and Babysitting practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information simply.
- Classroom experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for teaching is essential.
- Desire to teach for youth students or young adults.
- Works well with children
Requirements
- Ability to commute to different teaching sites across Salt Lake County
- Reliable computer to show course presentations on
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- CPR and First Aid Instructor Certified (preferred)
